Workshops

This course has been designed for those veterinarians with limited experience in diagnostic ultrasound. The course will help delegates to get the best out of their ultrasound machine, as well as developing a competent approach in practical scanning of normal and abdominal organs and of the heart.  

Day 1: Machine Setup, Artefact recognition, Ultrasonography of the liver, biliary tract, spleen, urinary tract and practical scanning.

Day 2: Basic echocardiography and scanning of the normal heart, Ultrasonography of the gastrointestinal tract, Ultrasonography of the reproductive tract,

Ultrasound guided invasive procedures and practical scanning.

Course numbers will be limited to 9 delegates.
