Thank you for your enquiry.
In essence the EF is calculated by measuring the Left Ventricular systolic volume to Left ventricular end diastolic volume ratio.
You need to use the Area measurement feature on the M9.
If you are practising overseas, the IMV International website has some great videos for learning as well.
Otherwise you may need to contact Mindray to find out who your nearest distributor is for more specific guidance.
