Ultrasound Guided Sciatic Nerve Block
Procedural video demonstrates an ultrasound guided sciatic nerve block in a dog. These blocks provide regional anesthesia and post-operative analgesia for procedures typically distal to the stifle in a dog. Developed in a 3 part series, the first video will review the prep and anatomical landmarks for the procedure. Part 2 will review the anatomical landmarks and nerve on ultrasound. Part 3 will demonstrate the ultrasound guided procedure with and without electrical stimulation.
